In herbal medicine mostly the root of burdock is used, as a blood purifier and for skin diseases.
Many people believe it's an excellent remedy for dandruff and can even make hair grow.
The stalks, leaves, roots and flower buds are still eaten by people who like to collect wild plants for food.
